Welcome to the Monate Rowing Club

The Monate rowing club was created in 1971 with the purpose of promoting rowing as a sport in the region. The club is situated on the Lago Monate, in North-western Italy. Calm waters and the spectacular Alpine scenery make the lake a wonderful place to row. The small club boasts several prestigious medals, including Italian titles in 2002, 2003 and 2004.

The bright club colors are representative of the vivid team spirit. Not only have the competitive athletes accomplished great feats considering their modest roots, a group of tenacious adults have been learning to row through the “Voga Club” learn-to-row programme offered by the club.
